Mexican voice actor René Garcia joins the Anime Matsuri family of 2020! His voice acting career began in 1982 and since then he has lent his many talents to movies, television, and anime. His wide range of expressions has landed him key roles such as Stewie Griffin from Family Guy, Vegeta from the Dragon Ball Z franchise, and Hyoga from the Saint Seiya franchise. His Spanish dubbing can also be found in well-known anime series such as Naruto (Kisame Hoshigaki), Slam Dunk (Hanamichi Sakurai), and the Sailor Moon franchise (Jedite/Rubeus).
Garcia has also given his dubbing voice to beloved characters like Ernie and Cookie Monster in the Spanish edition of Sesame Street, Bruce Lee in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, Hermes Conrad in Futurama, and Nick Wilde in Zootopia. His vast resume also includes his voice dubbing for famed actors Ben Affleck, Keanu Reeves, and even a bit of John Travolta. He is recognized within their Spanish dubbed films Batman (Ben Affleck), John Wick (Keanu Reeves), and Hairspray (John Travolta). Not only are his talents recognized within movies, television, and anime but also in gaming. He has taken on game characters such as Dick Baker in Dead Rising 3, Darius Flynt in Forza Horizon, and Ezreal and Kassadin in League of Legends. He will be joining his fellow Dragon Ball Z co-stars in The Epic Spanish Dragon Ball Z Panel.
