Currently located in Tokyo, Japan, cosplayer Mariko joins Anime Matsuri’s V.I.P. guest list! She is part of the cosplay duo Ryu-En and represents Japan on the competitive world stage for cosplay. The duo has achieved various awards from renowned cosplay contests which include 2nd place at The World Cosplay Summit and 2002 Star Wars Celebration Contest. Along with these awards, she has also gained 1st at The Chinese Cosplay Contest and the 1999 Joy Polis Star Wars Cosplay Contest.
